It is with a deep sense of shock and sadness to report that Club Thunder captain, Manchester Hogg and GB player Zak Haq passed away on Sunday 2nd December. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends. Zak touched the lives and hearts of everyone he met. Team-mates and opponents alike in Manchester and throughout the UK will share a huge sense of grief and loss at this time.

There will be a Memorial Night In Aid Of The Late Zak Haq on December 8th.
The UK softball scene lost one the finest and most beloved players this weekend.
Can’t say I knew you well, Zak, but I always had the utmost respect for you as a ball player. The emotion from those who knew you as a teammate speaks volumes about your character.
Rest in peace good sir. Deepest condolences to your family, friends (especially those from Thunder/Marvels/Hoggs/GB who had the pleasure of playing with you.)
You will be missed across the country.
